Organized by the folks at the National Alliance of Philippine Women in Canada, Something Else, Something Fierce is an upcoming fundraiser concert to be held at W2 Storyeum featuring a hard-hitting lineup of Filipino-Canadian artists and DJ’s, which promises to showcase some of the “fiercest” talent that the Filipino-Canadian community has to offer!

On April 16th, three-time Juno nominated singer/songwriter Emm Gryner will be the headliner. Emm will be supported by several opening performances from the likes of electric-violinist Kytami, soul singer Eirene Cloma, jazz singer Cherlyn Cortes, artist Mutya Macatumpag, hip hop artist R.Two, Stylus-award nominee for Best Female DJ of the Year DJ Miss M and mobile turntable inventor DJ Igzilla.

Proceeds from the concert will go towards furthering the development of Filipino-Canadian women. It is hoped that the fundraiser concert will become an annual event to both showcase and benefit the Filipino-Canadian community.

Doors open at 7 pm, and the show starts at 8 pm. W2 Storyeum is at 151 Cordova Street, Downtown Vancouver. Tickets are $35 in advance, $45 at the door, and $25 for students.
