Interested in fashion? Fascinated with art?
If so, The Orientique should be the highlight of your week.

The 37th Annual Powell Street Festival presents a fusion of fashion and performance on Saturday, June 22, 2013, as The Orientique introduces a new vision of fashion design work that crosses over into the realm of wearable art. The Dr. Sun Yat Sen Gardens provide the perfect setting for this fashion fantasy.

Curated by Yuriko Iga, and produced by Studio Keiko and Blim, The Orientique will shine a spotlight on the designs of Japanese designers Yasuhiro Tomita of Rukus, Terry Sasaki and Akihiko Izukura. DJ LKS will fuel and vitalize the night with live sounds and beats influenced by the West and East, and old and new Japan. The evening entertainment will also include performances by musician Caroline Jang and dancers Ralph Escamillan and Katerina Leppard.
