Find out on Saturday, August 2nd when comedy group Assaulted Fish performs its 30-minute free show at the 38th annual Powell Street Festival. Directed by Dawn Milman and stage managed by Ann Chow, Assaulted Fish will be debuting their brand new sketches at their 11th participating year in the community festival.

Since its founding over ten years ago, Assaulted Fish has been providing meticulously crafted sketches incorporating character studies, witty social commentary, and obscure slapstick humour that appeals to any and all audiences. Consisting of Diana Bang, Marlene Dong, Kuan Foo, Chris Lam, Lissa Neptuno and Nelson Wong, Assaulted Fish has travelled to the CanWest Comedy Festival, SketchFest Seattle, and has had sold out shows at the 2013 Vancouver Fringe Festival and the 2014 Vancouver Sketch Comedy Festival.

The performance by Assaulted Fish at the Powell Street Festival will be taking place from 5:00 – 5:30 pm at the Firehall Arts Centre, located at 280 East Cordova street. Seating is by general admission and the show is rated PG. For further information visit and prepare to be comically enlightened.
