Presented by the South Asian Arts Society, the dark comedy Mrs. Singh & Me is an intelligently refreshing take on generational differences in South Asian culture.

A desperately love-struck Raj, played by playwright Munish Sharma kidnaps an unsuspecting Mrs. Kuldeep Singh in a bid to win over the resilient mother of his ex-lover. Nimet Kanji gives life to the role of Mrs. Singh, masterfully balancing comedy and emotional sincerity.

A must-see, Mrs. Singh & Me delves into culturally relevant themes for all Canadians, exploring topics of social expectation, fear of the unknown, and living in an ever-shifting cultural landscape.
